New
Understanding of Psalm 83 May "Bring" the
Rapture Closer!
Many of us, with a grasp of
end time prophecy, are expecting the Russian/Iran
invasion of Israel (Ezekiel 38 - 39) to trigger the 7
year Tribulation, the Battle of Armegeddon,
introducing the victorious return of our Lord. Again,
many of us, also expect the Rapture to occur just ahead of, or
shortly after the Ezekiel
invasion.
Now, hoping that the Rapture is not too far away, we
have puzzled how the required conditions to trigger
the Ezekiel war are to be accomplished in the near
future. For it says that Israel would (1), be at peace, (2), would
not be living behind walls, (3), would have wealth to
attract the Russia/Iran invasion.
Now, as the Mid-east exists today, it is hard to see
when these conditions will be met?? For Israel is
certainly not at peace, being surrounded by enemies,
is actually just completeing a 480 mile wall for
protection from suicide bombers and doesn't have
enough apparent wealth to cause Russia to invade.
Well, a
significant prophecy, Psalm 83, has been overlooked
as a significant "tie-in" to the Ezekiel
war. Not, until a few years
ago when Bill Salus, new to the Christian faith
(introduced to faith by Chuck Missler about the time
of 9/11), dove into prophecy, and through intense
study, (certainly blessed by the Holy Spirit), has
discovered that details prophecied in Psalm 83 and
some supporting scripture, will trigger a major war,
ahead of the Ezekiel invasion!
This
war with Israel's border enemies, will set up all
these requirements!
And
these prophecies could fulfill, in the very near
future, considering current Mid-east events!
Bill Salus, has written a book, titled
"Isralestine", developing the war being
forced upon Israel by a collition of all the Arab
nations on her borders. The Psalm identifies these
nations and tells how God intends to severely punish
these nations, giving the huge victory to Israel,
capturing much land and resourses in the process.
And, as a result, Israel will live in a new level of
peace and prosperity, having no further need for the
480 mile wall for protection from the Palestine
suicide bombers!
This formerly overlooked war, apparently unknown to
prophetic students, will set up the conditions that
will draw Russia, Iran and other nations into the
Ezekiel invasion, bringing on the wrath of God
totally defeating them.
The book "Isralestine" is carefully
researched and now, highly regarded by numerous
prophetic writers, (for instance, see link below to
Chuck Missler's current article), who had overlooked
Psalm 83's impact. As you read Salus' book, you will
see that all the nations identified in this war are
not involved in the Ezekiel invasion.
