There are "mountains" of discussions, "pro and con" regarding the Muslim position, (not clearly stated in the Quran, incidentally), that in one way or another, Jesus was "taken" up to God and one of the disciples was made to "look like" Jesus and was crucified in His place. The idea of a substitute for Christ is a very crude way of explaining the Qur'anic text. They had to explain a lot to the masses. No cultured Muslim believes in this nowadays. The text is taken to mean that the Jews thought they killed Christ but God raised Him in a way we can leave unexplained among the several mysteries which we have taken for granted on faith alone. Dr. Hussein rejects the substitution theory. It so lacked simplicity and the ring of truth that it had to be modified repeatedly to cover all the holes. It is a crude way of explaining the Qur'anic text; the idea of a substitute is not well thought out. Even after almost one thousand years of modifications, thinkers still discard it as a backward thing that belongs to the uncultured, and hopefully to the past. It is an insult to the intelligence of the thinking man. "

Islam tells us that Muhammad (pbuh) (570 to 632 AD) recited the Koran to his disciples who wrote it down on palm-leaves, stones and other material they had on hand. In his recitation, he taught his followers that they were to believe the Pentateuch or Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David and the Gospel of Jesus.
Now Yehia Sa'a has written an overview of the Holy Scripture using the original uncorrupted text as it was available in and before the 1st century-including the exact same scripture portions Muhammad endorsed in the 7th century.

It's true! Jesus is either your Saviour or will be Your Judge!
Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation (judgment) for those who are in Christ Jesus".
Take Jesus as your Saviour or you will kneel before Him as your Judge! Phil. 2:10, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth". We will gladly, eagerly kneel before Him as our Saviour!
